Mechanical Watch

The purpose of choosing a mechanical watch for most people nowadays is not its function anymore. A teenager may wear a pilot watch while dating. A manager may wear a diver watch at the conference. A senior may wear a military watch for daily use.

It’s the craftsmanship, durability, aesthetics, and so on features that make the wristwatches are still very popular. The kinds of watch styles can be luxury social tools but also devices to entertain yourself.

The Idea

As a senior designer in the watch factory, Patrick knows that it is complicated and not an easy job to produce a good mechanical watch that is combined by multiple fine parts, especially those parts are manufactured by different factories.

However, Patrick loves the watch industry so much and likes to challenge himself. What’s more, he has established his unique ideas to create classic mechanical watches after years’ working and learning in this field. He wants to share those ideas with more people and attract more people to know the beauty of mechanical watches. So the Pouying was founded in 2020 by Patrick and his partners.

Pouying

Pouying is a microbrand for classic mechanical watches. Most of the Pouying watches' popular and charming elements can be found from those vintage watches. But the Pouying watches are unique too with different designs of watch hands, watch faces, watch bezels, crowns, luminous dials, materials, etc. We learn from the good ideas and combine our ideas to have better ideas.

Oliver starts his first job as a worker in a factory which only produces watch crowns. From worker to manager, 13 years of manufacturing experience lets him treat quality control as the key to win the market.

Yosef sells kinds of products before. However, the mechanical watch attracted him to spend the rest of his time on watches. He thinks the watch not only tells the time but also your story.

The future

Pouying will be focusing on people who are new to mechanical watches. We produce cost-effective and high-quality watches to let them know the charm of mechanical watches, especially automatically mechanical watches.

Pouying will release more series of mechanical watches, including diving watches, military watches, pilot watches, sports watches, and so on. And the classic vintage watch elements would be continued to use.
